Myron Bolitar is a sports agent on the brink of getting his breakthrough first client in rookie quarterback, Christian Steele. He is in the midst of negotiating this big contract when Steele receives a phone call from his girlfriend that everyone has presumed dead. While trying to unravel the truth and get a contract signed, a hit gets put out on Myron's head and the twists don't stop.

This is the first in the Myron Bolitar series of thriller, suspense novels.

The story had some well thought out plot twists and turns. The characters were well developed and I especially appreciated the humor dished around throughout the book.

I will be reading more of this series. This book was only number one and I have many to catch up on!

This book satisfied the suspense, thriller plot twists I enjoy so much combined with characters I want to read more about.

Harlen Coben has not let me down in any of the books I have read by him.

The story was interesting and kept up a good pace.The characters were well developed and backstory information filled out their personalities at appropriate times. I never felt as if I was being fed information to understand but learning more about each character as I went along with them through the story. Good start to a series!
