This is an excellent, diverse collection of poems, arranged in chapters by emotion. I found some new favorites, rediscovered a couple old favorites, and was surprised at the depth of emotion some of the poems stirred in me. I think there's at least one poem in there for everyone, male or female, although the book is definitely geared towards young women. I'm really glad I read it. | ||

I borrowed a copy of this book from my local library. I believe I first read about it in a magazine and recommended it to my library so I was the first to borrow it. I'm really glad I did and hope others will enjoy it too. The illustrations were a bonus and I like that they were done by three different artists but worked well together. If I hadn't noticed the artists' bios at the end, I'd have thought it was one with a wide range of style. | ||
