A Touch of Darkness is a greek myth retelling of the story of Hades and Persephone, if it had all taken place in a modern-world, Hades had a gambling empire and Persephone was a journalist. So, it's not that accurate, but it's still a fun story with plenty of romance.

If you want a smutty Greek myth retelling where Persephone is a badass and Cerberus just wants someone to play ball, then this book is for you! And hey, it's a whole series, so if one book isn't enough, there's more!

I enjoyed how the original myth was used in some ways, but not too much, to create a perfect story for the modern world, whilst still being a story full of Greek inspiration.

Whilst I'd rate this a solid 4.5 stars, I did find it a little bit predictable, and there was none of that urge to actually continue the series, despite all the positives.

Find some more Greeky myth retellings... maybe with a little smut.

Scarlett St. Clair (gotta be a pen name, right? I'm going to look that up) has a few different series that probably fit the bill if you're looking for books heavy on the romance.
