Burgess Hill, nr Brighton
I live in Burgess Hill, about 12 miles from Brighton. I'm 34 and work for a company called Skills South East, working on the government Train To Gain contract. I have another job working at The Railway pub just outside Burgess Hill station. I started writing at Portsmouth University where I studied criminology, so the crime genre has always fascinated me, probably because it's so far from the reality of my life.
Crime / political action thriller
Chaotic - Lots of plots and sub plots all merged into one thrill ride
Apart from reading and writing I'm also a member of the Brighton Nightwriters. Politics is another passion of mine, or rather criticising the Coalition and Labour, which sparked my interest in writing The Road To Revolution.
Crime / Politics / Drama / Action / Gangster.
The Godfathr (mario Puzo), All Stephen Leather's 'Spider' Shepherd books, Gangster (Lorenzo Carcaterra) Run For Home (Sheila Quigley) and Exit Wounds (Shaun Hutson)
Favourite authors are Stephen Leather, Mario Puzo, Robert Crais, Michael Connelly and Lorenzo Carcaterra.
Eminem - his lyrics are awesome.
With great power, comes great responsibility - Spiderman.
REM, Blur, Stereophonics, Oasis and other band music. Eclectic actually.
Favourite movies are Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather trilogy, Rocky films, Star Wars (all except Phantom Menace) and the Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
