About Me
Fiction is my drug of choice for the escapist fantasies that keep me from losing my mind. (It's addictive, but the side effects aren't bad... unless we're talking about a series with a lot of entries. That can get ugly.) I gravitate towards the speculative variety - fantasy, sci-fi, horror. I'm also that guy who is more interested in the appendices where all the extraneous lore is hidden than the actual story, with both what I read and what I write. Sorry 'bout that, I'm trying to do better.
Type of Writer
I can't write things that are long to save my life. Short stories mostly, though I defend the novella as the ideal format.
Writing Style
Above all: old-fashioned. Much of my writing is dark, heavily inspired by H. P. Lovecraft and Neil Gaiman, my favorites.
Most of the life I had before college disintegrated fairly recently so I'm trying to figure out what exactly I am. I have an Associates in History and a BA in Literature. (Only a recent college grad would have no interests to offer besides college.)
