We live much of life amid unique choices. Joy is anchored in The One beyond our life. |
“There are times when solitude is better than society, and silence is wiser than speech. We should be better Christians if we were more alone, waiting upon God, and gathering through meditation on His Word spiritual strength for labour in his service. We ought to muse upon the things of God, because we thus get the real nutriment out of them. . . . Why is it that some Christians, although they hear many sermons, make but slow advances in the divine life? Because they neglect their closets, and do not thoughtfully meditate on God's Word. They love the wheat, but they do not grind it; they would have the corn, but they will not go forth into the fields to gather it; the fruit hangs upon the tree, but they will not pluck it; the water flows at their feet, but they will not stoop to drink it. From such folly deliver us, O Lord. . . .” ― Charles Spurgeon “Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.” ― C. H. Spurgeon “Hope itself is like a star- not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity, and only to be discovered in the night of adversity.” ― Charles Haddon Spurgeon “If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” ― Charles Spurgeon “A Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.” ― Charles Spurgeon “Visit many good books, but live in the Bible.” ― Charles Spurgeon “When your will is God's will, you will have your will.” ― Charles Spurgeon https://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/2876959.Charles_Haddon_Spurgeon (Philippians 2:13, KJV) |
Rosh Hashanah 2025 came with great respect and honor. The dates of September 22-24, 2025 were filled with meaning. It was the Feast of Trumpets, and during those days, the nations of the world met at the United Nations building in New York City. Some hearts and minds were absolutely convinced that the Lord Jesus Christ would come in the clouds during those days, to take the Bride of Christ to His Father's House to begin the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, but that didn't happen. Why? “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36, KJV) Please, understand I believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ in the Rapture to take the Church, His Bride, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, but I am convinced that this Bible verse shows the Truth, that any time there is a popular date promoted for the Rapture the Lord is probably not going to come on that date. Why? “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (I Thessalonians 5:2, KJV) The Lord's Coming will use the same kind of stealth as that of "a thief in the night." The very moment anyone realizes that it is time for the Rapture, the Rapture will be over and done. Ever try to jump out of the way of a bolt of lightning. That's the kind of speed the Rapture will come. Actually, the Rapture will no doubt be faster. Over the past few days, a lot of people got their jollies over making fun of "the believers in the Rapture." However, even their ridicule was one more affirmation that Bible prophecy is true, and that it will happen on the moment of God's Choosing. “And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (II Peter 3:4, KJV) These words were predicted about 2000 years ago. He is definitely coming, again. I pray we'll all be ready. by Jay O’Toole on September 26th, 2025 ![]() |
