You're right about kids and food. One birthday meal I had was so big, I couldn't quite finish it. My dad was very understanding and complimented me on how much of the huge plateful of food I'd managed to eat. It took about 30 minutes for the rest of the family to eat what they could, box up the rest and get back to the house... at which point I ate a fairly large bowl of cereal. Dad was a bit less understanding about that.
When was the last time you were at Disneyland? I bet it's changed a lot since it opened in 1955! Or even since your engagement visit in 1971! We live nearby and visit a few times a year, and it seems like they're always improving, modifying, or replacing something!

We're getting a new Universal theme park here in the UK. It's in a county that has very little else of interest - hoping it will provide these kind of magical experiences for the next generation!

Ah, Spring. It always seems to keep us guessing then pops out. I don't think it likes Summer which is why it disappears so quickly.
Good that you have copies and can document all your interactions with the medical payment paperwork. If collection ever contacts you, you can give them the details as well. They don't like being stuck in the middle either but usually will double-check before bothering you further.

I'm Starting Over Again. I've put the past 5 months behind me and I'm ready to begin again. Not sure what avenues I'll go down but there are so many things to write about.
The View From MY Back Porch has changed and I'm hoping it will be better than before. Only time will tell.
I turned 75 Today and I've seen a lot happen in those years. So many things have changed during that time.
I'm looking forward to the coming months ahead. Hopefully I'll put the past behind me and I'll move forward with GUSTO!
