You are what you write. Illusion and Reality...I reside in between. Where are you?
UNDERSTAND THAT REDIRECTING CIVILIZATION is a major undertaking. You can write volumes about it and who will listen? But the energy that goes for that purpose cannot be withdrawn. You know that.

TUESDAY AWARENESS...
This is not propaganda. This is the real world intruding on your personal comfort:
“Fukushima now undeniably a global security issue… can’t be brought under control by single state” - Experts: Wave of radiation will be 10 times more than entire world’s nuclear tests combined.
THERE ARE 300 TONS OF RADIOACTIVE WATER ENTERING THE PACIFIC OCEAN EVERY SINGLE DAY. THAT IS WHY THE PACIFIC IS DEAD NOW.

THE EPA SHUT DOWN THE RADIATION MONITORING EQUIPMENT THROUGHOUT THE USA.

WHY DID THEY SHUT IT DOWN?
Listen to the silence...

Blog City image small Prompt: Does a human being’s urge to compete have anything to do with his narcissism, and why do people enjoy competitions so much? What are your thoughts on the subject?

Have you ever watched a group of birds, or puppies, or cats, or coyotes, or human children? They all, at some time in their development, pretend to fight, wrestle, race, and watch each other, testing strength and comparing themselves against the older and more experienced.

What is this behavior---instinctual preparation for survival, for propagation of their species, for the pure enjoyment of physical activity? Or all of that, plus further development leads to competing for a mate. They all do it, each in their own way, preening, posing, agressively approaching, and for some actual fighting for dominance. I believe competition is more than an urge. It is an innate drive in all beings, thanks to our DNA.

Highly intellectual, educated human beings move on to levels of competition that are beyond reason. We wish they were more like the puppies.

Blog City image small Prompt: Could terrorism--local, national, or international-have roots in a person’s or a group’s cultural disorientation and psychological instability? What do you think starts this type of crazy behavior?

It didn’t happen by accident or simple cultural disorientation. This idea of terrorism has been deliberate, planned and funded over many years. It changes names and nationalities. Following is a short snip from recent history. The intention has not changed, it is still going on, they just don’t like to tell you about it. And yes, it is crazy behavior, but how far up the chain of command to you go to say where it starts?

The Regan Administration Supports “Islamic Fundamentalism”
Pakistan’s ISI was used as a “go-between” CIA covert support to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan operated indirectly through the Pakistani ISI, --i.e. the CIA did not channel its support directly to the Mujahideen. In other words, for these covert operations to be ‘successful”, Washington was careful not to reveal the ultimate objective of the “jihad”, which consisted in destroying the Soviet Union.

In December 1984, the Sharia Law (Islamic jurisprudence) was established in Pakistan following a rigged referendum launched by President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. Barely a few months later , in March 1985, President Ronald Reagan issued National Security Decision Directive 166 (NSDD 166), which authorized “stepped-up covert military aid to the Mujahideen” as well as support to religious indoctrination.

The imposition of the Sharia in Pakistan and the promotion of “radical Islam” was a deliberate US policy serving American geopolitical interests in South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. Many present-day “Islamic fundamentalist organizations” in the Middle East and Central Asia were directly or indirectly the product of US covert support and financing, often channeled through foundations from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Missions from the Wahhabi sect of conservative Islam in Saudi Arabia were put in charge of running the CIA sponsored madrassas in Northern Pakistan.

Under NSDD 166, a series of covert CIS-IDI operations was launched.
The US supplied weapons to the Islamic brigades through the IDL CIA and ISI officials would meet at ISI headquarters in Rawalpindi to coordinate US support to the Mujahideen. Under NSDD 166, the procurement of US weapons to the Islamic insurgents increased from 10,000 tons of arms and ammunition in 1983 to 65,000 tons annually by 1987, “In addition to arms, training, extensive military equipment including military satellite maps and sate-of-the-art communications equipment? (University Wire, 7 May 2002)

No different today. Follow the money and the political agendas. Terrorism stimulates war. Societies are controlled (to protect them?) and who benefits? Sovereign countries are destroyed. Who benefits?

If you are afraid, what are you willing to give up to feel safe? Then who benefits?

Blog City image small Prompt: What was your favorite book and favorite movie when you were ten years old?

I can’t remember any books. I went to the library every week for two or three to read. I remember the Little Women series, but not the age I was. Maybe I was reading books for 12 year olds. Mostly listened to radio serial dramas. (Captain Midnight, comes to mind) I remember getting my hands on a copy of The Sinking of the Titanic. I read every issue of National Geographic from cover to cover.

For movies, I wan’t allowed to see the grown-up films, but I remember The Yearling, The Bandit of Sherwood Forest, Harvey Girls, Song of the South. It also cost money, of which we had very limited funds for entertainment.

Now that I look back, I am shocked at the huge number of films that were produced every year in the 40’s. I remember My Friend Flicka, Black Beauty,---Margret O'Brian, Elizabeth Taylor, who were close to my age, along with Micky Rooney. Going to the movies was a real experience, rare and much appreciated.

The War was over and everything was different in 1946.
I don;t think we’ve seen those days again.

Blog City image small Prompt: Why do people ghost? Can ghosting have a good reason? How does it feel to be ghosted?
Ghosting is when someone that you believe cares about you disappears on you without any form of explanation, message, phone call or email.

I have been ghosted more than once.

1. She volunteered at the local community theater where I was a director. Linda worked several shows backstage helping with props and snacks. (she was overweight) She was funny and friendly with everyone, worked hard and we all hung out a lot. I don’t remember, but I think she lost a job and couldn’t find a new job. I helped several months with extra cash for her rent and bought lots of meals. She never paid any of the borrowed money back and one day, just disappeared. I never saw her again.

2. In Canada I worked for a joint American-Canadian advertising agency. This lady was the supervisor or the Canadian office. She was another good friend who worked hard on many projects. At some point the agency began losing sales, so the owner decided to close it down. This woman, I’ll call her Liz. was encouraged to start her own agency service with a little office and a file full of contacts and possible clients. I loaned her about $4,000 to get it all started. And shortly after that she disappeared. I think she had one child and no husband. Nothing had been paid on her startup arrangements, she just left. And never heard from or about her again.

3. A few others, but usually about borrowed money or books, or several of my paintings taken to sell. The people just move on without any contact.

I’m a lot more cautious now. My bicycle is old and not worth stealing. And tools get loaned with great care. I refuse to loan or give cash, it causes too many problems. I’ve helped folks get jobs and give lots of references. I always wonder what happened to my ghosts, I liked them as friends. I’m sorry they couldn’t be honest. Part of the texture of the human experience.

Blog City image small Prompt: Reading a book and listening to a story is good entertainment. Does it take the place of TV Shows? Share your thoughts.

Almost always when I am house-sitting and there is television, I get bored very quickly and impatient with the commercials that take up half the time. I like the few movie channels that do not have commercial breaks. American television is mostly fear or fluff. Very disappointing.

OTHERWISE a good book on Kindle is the best entertainment.

Blog City image small Prompt: When you were a kid, did you want to have the same job or a different job than your parents when you grew up?

Absolutely not! My dad was a supervisor of an oil tank farm for a refinery during WWII. He later became a specality metal welder at the refrinery. I went to university for degree in theater, dance and design. We were worlds apart.

Important for awareness...

This is a new story that had a hard time getting heard. This is from one of the doctors that is still alive. I think it requires some serious research, especially if you have children.
Holistic Doctors Had Discovered Autism/Cancer-Causing Enzyme Intentionally Being Added to All Vaccines
So apparently the holistic doctors who were all being killed in Florida had found out via their research that the nagalase enzyme protein is INTENTIONALLY being added to the population via immunizations. Nagalase STOPS vitamin D from binding to the Gc protein. This completely strips a human being’s body of it’s natural ability to kill cancer cells. Nagalase is a protein that’s also created by all cancer cells. This protein is also found in very high concentrations in autistic children. And they’re PUTTING it in our vaccines!! This prevents the body from utilizing the Vitamin D necessary to fight cancer and prevent autism. Nagalese disables the immune system. It’s also known to cause Type 2 Diabetes.

Of course how many doctors will admit they know anything about this. Question can they prove the vaccines do not contain nagalase.

The Florida doctors were getting ready to release this finding when they were removed, so to speak. The doctor who did release this information said very first, “I am not suicidal!”

Blog City image small FOR YOUR AWARENESS...

Someone wrote: The great enemy of any attempt to change men’s habits is inertia. Civilization is limited by inertia.

>>> War is meant to forcefully change the “inertia” of civilization, and thus, forcefully change the direction of civilization in a manner that benefits the engineers of the conflict.

>>>And someone else wrote: Here it is important to be aware that Islam is generally a peaceful religion and that radical militant Islamism was born in the 18th century as Wahhabism and was a joint British/Saudi creation.

>>>And another person wrote: Today, pitched battles are being fought across Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Ukraine and Libya - with “skirmishes” across Israel/Palestine, Lebanon and much of the breadth of Africa. (and sometimes in France)

Now try to put those three ideas together...

With what is happening in the world today, do you feel like someone is pushing at your inertia?

So how can ordinary people know and understand which way their inertia should move?

Blog City image small Ludwig Wittgenstein said: “I wanted to write that my work consists of two parts: of the one which is here, and of everything which I have not written. And precisely this second part is the important one.”
Do you agree with Wittgenstein and believe that what you haven’t written yet is more important than what you have already written?

I think it is presumptuous to even think that what I write might be important. I’d be happy if they were judged entertaining and worth the read.

I write speculative fiction as in science-fiction and adventure fantasy. Most of the stuff I’ve written has at least partially come true in the real world as I’m barely ahead of scientific advances. If my stories make readers aware and thinking about what is possible, I’m gratified.

In my blog I sometimes push human health as somethiing to encourage awareness. For some individuals that could be important, but only on an individual basis. I’m not happy with our political and foreign relations, so I dig at those occasionally.

All I can offer is this piece written some years ago:

THE PAST OF VISION

Yellow, see it.
Orange-red, feel it.
Purple-Blue, become it!
For you to see the way clear
Into the faultless realm of listen-see-do.
Let it flow into the glass like a focus of metal glitz
That phonies up in the white glare of press lights
As I write for the future to read about the Past of Vision.

I seek the history of the world as it will be
A vision of timespace visited with a thoughtful eye
Toward lean-words well-spent.
A flight of eagles is breathless
In its eye filling splendor,
But the twinge of another’s eyebrow
Is more in conclusion with the thought of the day.
Lately spent,
Their greatest war machines did the deed
Unto all who grimaced in frankness and truth.
And lastly,
They who learned of the dare
Pulled back all their strings
Without a tick to flick
In the moist sparings
Of contorted pollution fruition.

Paired off like sparring hens
In a strawless nest
The egg broken at first thrust
Leaving yoke to mix with dirt.

Dirt-life drains under mindless feet.
Knowledge of its passing
A mystery pondered by others
Faraway on a mountain top
Tiny figures at the opposite end of the telescope
Twisting for focus
Bent in concentration
Fearing,
Helpless.
They never considered the force of tiny minds
Full of hate-fear-doubt
The disbelief of their downfall
Courses into every heart
With stinging frayed petulance
(evil).

Awareness is a total state of being
Responsibility is the end result
That comes too late.
Action is limited to preconceived untruths
Learned from those ignorant fathers
Who mix blood and chicken s***
Into a paste they know will mend the egg
But they can’t find all the pieces
Nor all the fluid so precious
Now that it is lost forever.

Darkness is the gift
Of children’s fathers
Better let them die without the knowledge
Of who did this to them.
They cried with salty tears
Ocean deep
Polluted dank
Dark
Children
Blind to reasoned arguments
Belch forth pain in droves of searing beads,
Strung on a sleeve of bent twigs
Flaking off into a mustard-colored sea
Of molten dreams.

He cared
He cared
He died without a trace
Not a vapor of intelligence
Was born with his death
Garish beads of blisters
Festooned the back of his hand
Hand that held the raster grip
When it fired the last time.
He willfully smiled
A grimace really
Coming from a dead heart whose purpose was lost
Into desire of acceptance and ridicule.
“Others have ideas, I have needs!”

Outfox
Outgain
Dream deeper
Less than more
Is a bigger solution
People with mighty blinkers
See no possibility
Only feasibility
Study their grave holes
Lined with better Barbiedoll plastic aprons
And sleeveworn ideas
About helter-skelter pudding for grownups
Mediocrity reigns without a shrug of decision.

Past of Vision
Includes tear drops turned to vapor
Burnt out cartons of love
For Marines homebound
To Waste-city-dump.
Fire the torch of liberty!
Where is the breeding ground of freedom?
Freedom fighters?
Freedom racers?
Freedom Imposers?
Freedom fraud?
Better give into reason
Whose reason?
Reason is reasonable
Only after pain
Sharp stinging pain
Lingering pain
Rooted forever
In the Past of Vision.

-Gale Peterson, March 2003

And has the world changed that much since 2003?

Blog City image small Prompt: What advice would you give to those in power--leaders of nations presidents, etc.--on the subject of handling violent extremism which keeps turning our world into a senseless one?

This is a very aggressive prompt.

War is, and always has been, about conquest for plunder and power. And the many wars that we see taking place around the world today are no different.

Last year, the US military was running special operations in 147 countries, which represents roughly 75% of the entire planet.

US and NATO military operations have grown exponentially over the years, as the Western nations have taken it upon themselves to police the world and use that position to their benefit at every possible opportunity. Who created and is funding and trainiing the so-called terrorists for what projected purpose? There are layers of conficting information. That’s the senseless part.

Two days after the Paris massacre more evidence is beginning to emerge suggesting that the attacks may indeed have been an operation designed by Western intelligence agencies for the purpose for gaining support for more western intervention in Syria...

France launched "massive" air strikes on the Islamic State group's de-facto capital in Syria Sunday night, destroying a jihadi training camp and a munitions dump in the city of Raqqa, where Iraqi intelligence officials say the attacks on Paris were planned.

French aircraft dropped a total of 20 bombs in the biggest air strikes since France extended its bombing campaign against the extremist group to Syria in September, a Defence Ministry statement said. The jets launched from sites in Jordan and the Persian Gulf, in co-ordination with U.S. forces. Note that the reaction comes before the investigations or the evidence. Many passports were found from many different countries. All bomb-proof, I guess.

It would be impossible to believe that the ‘World Leaders’ are not connected to the above activity and events. Their decisions could be influenced by high-powered military advisers, by blackmail, by financial rewards, loyalty to foreign governments or political party agendas. Who benefits? Follow the money, follow the power, listen to the silence of the media.

Are you distracted and misdirected from what you should have heard and seen? How deep is the illusion that protects the truth from being revealed?

I’m going back to my novel, it’s easier to believe. >>>iggy *Boat*

Blog City image small Course, if you have a superstition about Friday the 13th, please share I love reading about them.

I always felt those Fridays the thirteenth were kind of special.

Today is part of the first week of the Caribbean high season---cruise ships and thousands of tourists. AND IT IS RAINING, like a lot.

The ocean is filled with small churning storms that blow in with drenching rain and then move on. Rough waves and cool for this time of year. No ships here, but they are out there somewhere looking for tropical paradise.

For some folks, the thirteenth might be considered unlucky.

My work is canceled today because of the rain, so I look at it as a holiday!

At WYRM we are running the annual GAUNTLET competition. The Gauntleteers are into their third round. We’re seeing some really exceptional writers this time.

Happy day...>>>iggy
