As youths spray them with colour.
Dance, dance round the holy fire!
Namak Pare and sweets to delight you!
Enjoy! Then endure
Sleepless nights, stressful days
Studying for key examinations.

Oh March! Month of contraries
Feasts, festivals, taxes and tests!

Magical, Mundane, Mysterious, Magnificent
A bountiful harvest celebrated
Ramadan means fasting in Islam
Conciousness raised, celebrations done
How much 31 days can bring us!
