I transfer a Word doc into an AT Publisher doc.
I add page numbers, formatting, etc.
I then double-sided print each r pages as a separate booklet. These are folded so the page numbers are in order.
Clamp these together with large alligator clips.
Run strong glue down the spine and spread it out carefully and evenly.
Use two rulers, one on each side, and two D-clamps to hold them in place.
Wait for glue to dry.
Print cover on an At sheet in At size but allow for a spine. Glue that on.
A book!
There are a lot of online companies that do this. Might have to Google search and see which ones fits your needs. I know Blurb.com does it, though I found them a little expensive when I did this years ago. I think Barnes & Nobles has their own printing press you can do it through, and there are countless others out there, too. Just Google "print your own book." Sorry I don't have one I recommend. It's been years and I don't even remember which one I went through.
One thing that was tricky was that a lot of them require you to format your book a certain way within a PDF. I don't think it was overly difficult, but a little tedious.
