You will stumble down narrow craggy cliffs, you will bleed, and you will suffer bruises and wounds as you tumble down those jagged stretches of the landscape. You will fall into deep ravines and you will drown in the depths of dark murky waters that seemingly have no end in sight, nor a bottom that can even be felt with the tips of your toes. You will be faced with coldness and uncertainty, and you will feel lost and alone, even while being surrounded with everything life has to present. You will simply exist at times and feel disconnected from the universe. You will feel alone as you sit in rooms full of other people who seem to live and interact without noticing anything beyond their luminous bubbles. You will feel empty and lifeless as you stand outside amid the natural beauty and splendor that the energy of this planet has to share with all of us. You will experience this abysmal cycle over and over again as day becomes night, and night becomes day. It will repeat without end like waves continue to crash upon the shore and endlessly change the landscape. Each particle of sand like a separate string of reality that feels momentarily tangible to our seemingly insignificant lives.

These depressingly dark times can feel like some of the loneliest times in anyone's life. It is during these times you will feel as though you are lying naked and exposed in an inglorious heap of broken pieces; just thoughts and fragmented memories and emotions for the world to tear apart and pick through one by one. Examining the worth of each shard under their own personal and collective microscopes and then either discarding each one as rubbish or declaring there may still be some value worth saving. Worth holding onto so it can be pieced back together in some makeshift way.

But do not be afraid during these periods in life as it is often during the darkest times that we rediscover our own inner light or even discover a new light that we were previously unaware existed. There is always a way out of every prison, no matter who or what constructed it and no matter how full of despair it is. I believe that we all have it within ourselves to seek new ways of seeing without using our eyes as we learn to listen without using our ears.

The way I see it is there are only ever 2 fundamental choices when it comes to life. You can choose to live, or you can choose to die.

Living is not always easy, and for some, it is simply difficult or it just feels difficult. This is always relative to multiple factors. There are internal and external influences abound that affect how we react and deal with circumstances throughout life. This includes things such as a person’s biology, where they grew up, how they were raised, and how they personally view and experience others living their lives.

As you walk the unique path of your life you will encounter many obstacles and deal with many people from all avenues of life. Each individual will have their own ideas of how life is best lived and how others should be living their lives. You will climb many hills and mountains, and you will walk down long straight relatively uneventful lulling stretches of life that can blind you to the ever-changing kaleidoscope surrounding you. That world which exists beyond what one can experience in a tangible sense. The world that morphs moment by moment with the incessant winds of time. Sweeping in with new weather and changing seasons. Illuminating patterns in newly-formed clouds that move as though possessed with energy and colour drawn from forces inexplicable to the usual confines and senses of the mind.

And you will continue to attempt to grasp that mysterious essence of what it is to be a human being.

Regarding the pursuit of perfection:
It is important to not lose oneself chasing ideals that are constantly morphing throughout time and history
All the civilizations, societies, and cultures of this world will have a different idea of what is perfect to them
This blind chase will eventually reveal itself as a fruitless and wasteful endeavour
So don't spend too long attempting to encompass this false ideal
For there is not much sense in dedicating your attentions to something that is non-existent within the familiar constructs of this universe
Perfection is naught but a shimmering seed residing deep within the liquid shadowy eyes of the individual
A pure reflection of the internal and external entwined - manifesting itself as an efflorescence of beauty.
Ran out of space to post. So, I'm going to write on my own message board for this moment:

Sometimes I feel like everything I write just reminds me of something else I read, or heard in a song, or a movie, or somewhere else. And sometimes I just feel like everything is one giant conglomeration of all the art and stories we have shared across time and history. Just all morphing together like a giant deformed monster. Everything just copied and pasted, sliced, diced, edited, and slapped together like a fucking behemoth chimera sitting in the desert laughing at all of us fools trying to find something of value to piece together from the chaos. Something original, some truth to what we think and say - to what we feel, to what we do. And sometimes all I can seem to pick out of that damn pulsating collage of a chimera statue are little tendrils. They spiral out like spiderweb silk and then evaporate before I can grab onto anything that feels real and tangible.
It's all been done dude. Now it's about how you spin the idea
