I have never been much of a “ blogger” nor diary keeper, hence, my notebook has gone lacking. But, today, I have been strolling through memory lane here on WDC, and I have to admit it has been a sobering and sad walk. I have been away more than active for several years, and I realize that several authors that I was privileged to become acquainted with, and who offered constructive criticism as well as blessed encouragement have passed into eternity or are no longer active here.

I will miss them! I guess we forget our mortality and never stop to consider that those we love and depend on are also mortal.

Great writers never cease to exist as long as their works live on. I know this to be true, and look forward to the day when I can “talk” with them again.
