Blogging about writing.
I've never had writer's block before. Maybe it's writer's exhaustion as my novel has been revised, now with the editor for a second revision, and the entire process has left me with no desire to write another story or work on completing the ones that I have.
Make some kind of change in your routine. I normally work at my desk. When I get blocked I pick up a pencil and a notebook and scoot over the a local coffee place and drink coffee and write (with the pencil) whatever comes to mind. This usually get the juices flowing for me.
I find that putting it away for a few days helps. Take some time to go for a walk, enjoy some scenery, check out an art show or just watch a good movie. Sometimes doing something you like will help you brainstorm.
I love the random review option as is reveals works that were written a while ago and some that haven't been read. It's nice to be able to review pieces that writers might have forgotten.
Ah summer. A time to let go of stress and recharge. I'm surprised I've been more relaxed this year. I've actually written more poetry. Reviewing has inspired to pick up my pen again.
Finished the revisions to my novel and sent it back to the editor.
Coming out of the writing limbo that I've been in during the last year. Wondering why I stopped.
