Hello friends, first of all, I would like to apologize for my very long absence in this favorite site of mine. The thing is that I was sick for the last 8 months and still am. I was suffered from an acute bilateral blindness and my doctors explained to me that there's nothing they can do to me as the nerves that innerve my eyes were damaged, I don't know what they really mean and I wish I know what they were talking about, but it didn't change anything to me. I was quitting my job as I'm unfit for work. Now I just stay at home, hoping for some miracles to happen to me, but I leave everything in God's hand as he was the only one to solve this problem of mine.

I miss you all, especially writing poems and reviewing others piece but I pray to God to give me back my sight one day so that I can join you all again and most of all to see my first born daughter that I haven't seen her face from the moment she was born.

NB: My wife wrote this for me as I'm a helpless one. I tried to dictate everything that I want to say but I'm a little bit emotional so I couldn't say more.

You are constantly in our prayers, and we will always be with you no matter what! As long as you're wife is there to help you along, then you've still got it made. And just because of this little setback, please don't let it keep you from dictating your thoughts and stories to us here on WdC!

I like it when seeing Registered Users' reviews on the public reviewing page (http://www.writing.com/main/my_feedback/action/rrs). Below are some reviews I came across:

Even though the reviews weren't constructive, but one thing does matter to me is the time and effort those enthusiastic readers and reviewers put into reviewing. They show how the piece have touched them and for that they react to writers in a review. I suppose that is what a writer really wants to know from a reader.

I'll keep my eyes wide open for more reviews by generous Registered Users with hope that one day these folks will share their writings with us.

You might search for all emails from Writing.Com Support and delete them to free up some space. Newsletters and Reviews can be deleted because you can access them elsewhere.

These are strategies I have resorted to when necessary.

Hope you will be back soon. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
Personally, I only keep one e-mail from each person- keeps 80% of the space free- and I delete those from people who've been inactive for more than three months.
