Hester's past never was a bed of roses. Her rebellious son wearily trudges the same road.
I have been improving on this story since 2008. Thanks to all you 'The Last Sermon' may soon be published. I need to cut back on a few things in the other 10 chapters, and tighten up this first chapter. I am searching for a creditable editor, so if you guys are aware of any please let me know. I've just edited 'The Maestro's Sorrow'. I wrote this poem purposely as an interpretive piece for the reader. I am amazed at how a few stanzas can mean something different to so many people. And because of it, I am truly happy!

. I made one small correction in the first stanza. I changed the word (this) song... to (that) song. This is to show that the devil isn't telling the story. Please let me know what you think of this change. Thanks
