Do join us more often; maybe poems? Short story? Share your baking experiences, hobbies? Hope you come back more often.
I'll try.
Congrats to your new retirement and your reading 18 books. I love to read and love to hold a book in my hand vs. reading from my phone or computer. Sounds like you have had some great successes this year. Blessings, Seabreeze
Thanks, Seabreeze When you read/write a lot for work, it's easy to fall out of a habit of reading fiction. Fortunately, it doesn't take long to get back into it. Now, to get back to writing more of it, again.
It's been a heck of a month. Car was totaled. (Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the car's been replaced - sooner than planned, but it WAS almost 10 years old.) Just since MONDAY: 60' tree in back yard was totaled by lightning. Electric range, TV, and DSL modem - totaled by lightning. And this afternoon, it's storming again. ::facepalm::
Well. Things seem almost back to "normal," or whatever passes for "normal" around here... Meet the new car...
I'm baaaaaack... (well, technically, I never left)
Must get to work - leave a message on my wall. Feel free to use spray paint, but do try to ensure that it's soy-based, environmentally friendly, washable, and totally acceptable under whatever ratings guideline applies, these days. ;) Is it my imagination, or have some of the writingML tags change to look less like imperatives? (Thinking b-item for example.)
You know what would be really cool, The StoryMaster Okay, there are probably some inherent risks. Maybe the spray paint splat's enough.
