So, we had more snow last night and more coming tomorrow. Main roads are down to one lane. There is no place left to put the snow. It was announced today that garbage pickup will be held back for a couple of weeks. Snow removal is being done with graters. Paramedics are having to leave ambulances and walk to those in need. We have never had a winter like this as far as I can remember. People are having heart attacks trying to dig themselves out. The homeless are not doing well. The Hospital is jammed. Grocery stores are not getting their orders due to the highways. We have no sidewalks, so you are walking on the roads that are down to one lane. Many accidents. So, in saying all of this, if I haven't been online, it's due to the situation at hand. I believe tomorrow is another ten to fifteen cm. I have no place to be, so I am hoping to on tomorrow.

Well I did it to myself. I did a review late last night ,and I was tired. I woke up this morning to double- check the edit, and I deleted it.*Facepalm* I really have to get it together.
Huge storm here yesterday into this morning. It left most of Ontario shut down. Highways, grocery stores, the mall, etc. The only place open is the hospital. Everyone was asked to stay home so they can clear the roads. The Internet has been off and on, so I haven't been on much. We had lightning, and up to 50 feet of snow.

Oh no!! Hope it settles and clears up soon!! My girlfriend is in southwestern Ontario and didn't mention anything; she's been out and about most of the day with her kids.
Officially, the proud owner of mom and dad's house. Keeping in the family as dad wished before he passed. Mom can rest easy and be with us without the burden. Celebrate!!

Geez Louise! My weekly goals went down the toilet! Another run around today. Is it over yet?
Most goals are flushed... sooner or later. Start over? Break down into bite-size objectives?
Happy Tuesday!! Still dealing with mom's house and lawyers, etc. Been a bit hectic here, but I will be in motion again shortly. I can't focus until this is done. *sigh
By next week, I should be the new owner of Mom's house!! I am so glad to get that out of the way. It is scary to start over with a new mortgage, yet I will feel good knowing this isn't hanging over her head. At 84 she doesn't need that worry. She can pay rent *Wink* jokes
Actually... yeah. I'm at an age I must think about not living alone. Same with traveling.
My mother-in-law is at the point in her life where she shouldn't be living alone, but she doesn't want to give up her independence.
TJ: one day closer to camping Author Icon - it is really hard for them. giving up their things and condensing their precious belongings in a few boxes to be stored away. That's tough.

Happy Family Day !! Here is Canada is national family day. So we are enjoying movies.
I went and saw my Mom, which is always good.

But in all honesty, what kind of family day is it, when everything is closed, and unless you are a snow rat, there really is nothing that you can do with your family except be at home, something you essentially do every other day of the week.
Now, had they given us a day in June, July, or August, then we would be able to enjoy outdoor activities with the family, which would be much more fun.
