Val and Dren are reluctant friends. They dont like each other, and most days they'd just as soon kill each other. When not fighting eachother on jobs they're bickering about methods used on jobs, prefered methods, ethics, and politics. Dren comes from a small world called Mathis, which just so happens to be the only planet Val has ever called home. Val and Dren were in the same unit in their pre-military career, and competed for unit lead since day one. Which was just good motivation, until...
