Trying to get clarification on a procedure for my 91 year old husband. He had infection of a tooth so the dentist wanted to send him to ortho for root canal. During all this, he was on amoxicillian. My husband went into the hospital feeling very weak and they diagnosed Afib. My hubby is on blood thinners. The Ortho office that does the root canal says that my husband could be on b.thinners for the root canal. The GP says no and should be off for at least 3 days. My husband does not want to be as he has had bad experience before doing that. The Ortho office says that if they do surgery, then off course he would have to be off those drugs. They say that the procedure they are doing is not surgery.

Anyone out here in writing.com had any experience list this???

I am not familiar with that procedure, but it sounds like a second opinion would be in order.

Grinning back at ya!

Going through some old CDs....

I love this; all about communication

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Truer garbled words have never been spoken. I still do not know if people do not concentrate, or pay attention. How are they able to hear some words, but claim not to hear the rest?

Chicago was one of my favorite groups in the 70's.
Ichabod Crane Author Icon - Oh yes, I still love the oldies but goodies.

Thanks for your response,

Friday night karaoka special........

April 23, birthday of William Shakespeare. I have not read much of his poems, but do like this one:

Take, Oh Take Those Lips Away
TAKE, O take those lips away
That so sweetly were forsworn,
And those eyes, the break of day,
Lights that do mislead the morn:
But my kisses bring again,
Bring again—
Seals of love, but seal’d in vain,
Seal’d in vain!

– William Shakespeare

Happy Tuesday.......

Nixie 🦊 off and on Author Icon - I am pleased it touched you. Sometimes we just need to have something take us back. Makes us happy for the most part.
I like this. In some ways it captures a generation, mine. That said, I prefer Melanie's version. It's much rawer.
JACE Author Icon - I think Ruby Tuesday is now a chain, but not so in Maine in the 1970's. And the one where I dined could, in no way, be replicated to produce a chain. That's how unique it was.
For all your poem writers: The link says 50 forms but the article shares168 forms. Great resource!
