Stuck on a scene that has been bugging me for a week now... How am I supposed to get this done???
It's normal to feel stuck or experience a 'blah' moment. All you need to do is write, restart the chapter from memory or as far back as you like. I've found the scene will come to you - in time. Just don't waste too much time or you'll forget what you were doing. The reader needs to feel like they are there, no matter what happens. Surprise them with something they wouldn't expect. Life happens. Write about it. That is all...
