Happy 2nd anniversary Somtymes. *Heart*
Getting a 4-day late start for NaNoWriMo, but that's okay - at least I have started this year! Every year I tell myself I'll try it, and then I don't start and never do. Beginning is half the challenge! Now that I've begun, I cannot fail.
Stop getting onto the couch at night and get on with that wonderful book that you have started. You have limitless prompts from life that would fill more than one book.*Smirk* I have started something that is struggling and going the way I don't want it to be.
Good luck and keep going.*Books1*

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm picking at it little by little each day! I've gotten a bit behind. Fortunately, I'm one of those people that works well with a deadline. I'll probably end up writing half of my book in the last few days. *Wink*

In a way, you should just let it go the way it wants to go! See where it takes you! You never know where you might end up...

Good luck!
Just bought my ticket to visit home for the first time in nearly 2 years. About time!
Just watched a massive mothership cloud roll over my head. Got inside just in time for the crazy lightning show. *Cool*
Killing it at my new editing job. *Cool*
I got my first job as a professional editor! Now my professional life can begin, at last. SO excited! *Happycry*
Preparing for my interview... I've got the skills for the job, but my interview skills leave something to be desired. Hopefully I don't choke!

Be sure you know how to answer "What's you greatest weakness" in a way that makes your "weakness" sound actually like a strength.
My current job went under, so I am now unemployed. However, that is probably a good thing. Now I can collect unemployment, which requires me to apply for at least two jobs a week for me to get paid. In addition to this motivation, I now have lots of extra time to spend writing resumes and cover letters (which take hours and hours to write!). And I'm not taking any position that isn't salary because I am through with hourly positions... hours always get cut, and who wants to deal with that?

On the upside, I already have an interview for an editing position! Wish me luck!

Hi and welcome to W.Com.

Just thought I'd be one of the first to write in your notebook! *Smile*

Thinking about life as a spider slowly repels from the ceiling towards my head. I wonder if the spider realizes how soon his life will end if he continues to come down?

*Laugh* Sounds like a poem.

Welcome to WDC, by the way! I'm sure that you will fit right in here. You seem to think like a writer. *Wink* If you need any help finding your way around, feel free to ask!
