Me! Me! Lol
I should be writing, but my Goku won't LR himself in Dokkan Battle...
I have been dealing with some personal issues over the past month, so I have no really been on WDC in that time. So, I missed that I am once again an upgraded member!

For two years in a row, a mysterious angel who wishes to keep their identity hidden.

I am humbled by this generous gift, and I feel bad that I did not think you sooner. I am so grateful for this wonderful gift. Honestly, I am moved to tears right now and I'm not ashamed to say that!

It's a reminder of why WDC is such a great community!!

Thank you again, whoever you are! Now, I need to find a way to pay it forward!
Welcome back
I'm so sorry you were having personal issues and had to be away. I'm glad you are back and hope that means the issues are now resolved. *Heart*

If you keep getting free upgrades, you are probably fairly active, so good job. Being an active member is definitely a way to get noticed and upgraded. *Wink*

To pay it forward, I know everyone wants reviews. For example, jolanh would probably love some reviews of his Silverbolt writing. (No, I was not instructed to say that. *Laugh*) Or go to the Read and Review section or the Please Review section. Entering contests is another way to be active and sort of pay it forward. Contest owners are always discouraged when they get few to no entries. *Frown* I'm glad you have a pay-it-forward attitude! Keep it up, congratulations, and welcome back! *Hug*
Thanks Schnujo but let's face facts Silverbolt doesn't hold much interest to all that many. I love the shiny bastard, but he needs work. Thanks to my daughter I have to right an origin story now
This is a newly written story for a contest.

I am looking for some honest feedback so I can improve this story. I will return the favor!

Otherwise, please enjoy! It's one of my darkest stories, and perfect for the Halloween season.

I just arrived at that horrible moment where I just realized that I wasted time on a rewrite of a story that seems to be stuck with no hope of going forward and my first draft looks so much better.

This is not a good feeling*Sad*

holy crap! that means you're a real writer! *BigSmile*
Do you have fond memories of Nintendo? Is there a home console you would pick out as the best one they ever made? Would you pick the NES? SNES? Maybe the Wii or Switch?

Which home console of Nintendo do you think rules above all the others?

Vote in this poll and give your opinion on the matter!

I just read Review of "Memories" by MaryWise and her review led me to read your story:

 Memories  (ASR)

Why do I have a big smile right now? Because someone gifted me a one-year Upgraded Membership! I would love to thank them personally, but I don't have a username! My generous gift giver opted to remain anonymous, but I hope you see this message!

I am very grateful from the bottom of my heart for such a gift, especially since it allows me to display more of my work on WDC! I never expected such a gift, but its a wonderful reminder of what a wonderful community WDC is!

So whoever you are, I want to give a *Hug* to another wonderful WDC member who made my day! I simply could not afford an upgraded(or even a Basic) membership, so thank you for this wonderful gift!
Ok, I need some help.

What is the perfect hair color for a nature goddess in a fantasy story?

Anyone have any advice?
I don't think there's a "perfect" hair color, but can be what fits your characters personality, surroundings, and/or situations. Who says it can't change even with her moods? She is a goddess after all! That being said usually when I think of a nature goddess it's nature colors... which would depend entirely on which natural setting she is in... Forest, Mountain, River, Volcano...etc? Not the advice you were probably looking for but hope it helps you come closer to picking what "perfect" color will work with your story! *Heart*
Hey there,
Depends on what type of nature it is. Like, summer, winter, etc..

However, personally I always liked white glowing hair, that was tinted like a mirror. As to reflect the nature around them. Gotta be a chick though. If a dude, Black hair.

Do you enjoy reading Dark Legacy? Well, I have posted the latest chapter.

Why don't you check it out and let me know what you think of it?

Also, for those who have not read Dark Legacy yet, well Halloween season is the perfect time to jump in! In a fantasy world where humans and vampires have gone to war, what is the destiny of a dhampir, the half-breed child of the last Vampire King and the previous summoner who can harness the spirits of legendary creatures? What is the destiny of her own daughter who carries the mark of the summoner?

Here is the link to Dark Legacy Chapters I-VI

I hope everyone can give my series a try. Also, if you send me a review for these chapters, I'll return the favor and if you have a novel of your own that needs reviews, maybe we can help each other out.

Either way, if you're a fan of vampire stories, or are looking for something new to read, I hope you will give Dark Legacy a try!

I have a question and I'm hoping my fellow writers can help me out!

I am currently writing a chapter and one of my characters is a male dragon god whose soul is sealed inside a young woman's body. So, he has control over her body but the mind and everything he says belongs to him.

The question I have is which gender do I use when I describe the character talking or doing any actions?

Do I use female pronouns since the host body belongs to a woman or male pronouns since a male dragon is in control of the body?

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance!
I would use names. When the person is named, female pronouns. When the dragon is named, male. Good luck.
I just added a new chapter for Dark Legacy!

Please check it out!

Somehow Dark Legacy went from a series about a war between humans and vampires, to include Lycans, ancient elves and their weapons, and tons of other fantasy elements that got tossed into the mixed. I have no idea what happened, but its always fun when a story takes on a life of its own!
