This poem evoked in me a stillness to life moving on

The rhyming scheme was good

I could see myself in my yard watching falling leaves - the character was believable

It flowed nicely

Anyone could relate to your poem in their own way and place because the poem was not in a specific place.. I liked that.

The poem is memorable because I too am watching the years pass by.

It is also great because it is about one moment in time said very succinctly

The title gives the reader a nice foreshadowing of the subject matter

I like your work, it is so expressive. Free verse poetry appeals to me and I am trying to become more proficient with this style.

This piece touches my heart. I have recently written a poem using the same idea. I titled mine "The Wall." Writing such as this motivates me to go on with life.

I think my mother must feel like this. My brothers and sisters and I try to visit her as often as possible to remind her she is not alone. I like the way you write. It is full of sentiment and familiarity.
