Nicely written. Really captured the dark and mysterious vibe of it all. I understand that this is a free form of poetry but I would have enjoyed it more with a little more rhymes and uniformity. But overall, great piece. Enjoyed it :)

Loved the Tolkien / Rowling touch to the poem. Not really a fan of unicorns, but this actually sparked something deep within myself-some sort of empathy towards the creatures. The helplessness; the despair. Bravo :)
