Been there you have, I see it in your words. I don't think anyone understands the transformation from leaving a Saturday afternoon sandlot baseball game to screaming for more ammo a year later in a jungle, half a world away. A part of you gets lost out there somewhere that only the band of brothers can understand, but you captured the essence of it all. Your point is well taken ' We did what we had to do' even though we were unaware that we would never be the same again.
To old to care about guide lines and too new to know my way around, just know what I like and Don't like, don't really know if my opinion would sway the winds of the world, but it did move the strings of my heart, been a long time sense I read a story I couldn't put down, you just keep on what your doing, far as I'm concerned, you got all your ducks in a row, keep your lantern polished, you got the right oil.
