Review of Gone to the Dogs

I like the story. I like the confusion of the children about Sarahs dad going to the dogs. I like Eleanor. I assume Charlie and Sarah are good friends by the way Eleanor looked after Sarah. But who is Gretchen? I also had little sense of place. When they were talking about going west, I had no idea where they were any way. A bit more detail so we can see the scenes would be brilliant. I reckon this would find place in a fiction magazine.,
