I LOVED IT! It is like you are there with them and observing their interaction. Like most guys, you started off the conversation with something general like the weather. Sports could have been an icebreaker as well for a start, but this worked very well. I liked the death humor that a lot of military members use to fight off their real feelings. Great going and keep writing!
