Listening to the women's paranoid thoughts, her suspicions felt genuine. The desire for them not share to share their intimacies with other was made clear with their indifference to children. Yet you still see and feel their distance when she questions his actions and the parcel she found while rifling through his private spaces. The twist at the end opened the door for questions not yet explained. I enjoyed reading this very much.
