Thank you. This article was helpful to me as a beginning reviewer and new member here. I agree that giving high ratings as encouragement does not help the writer learn. I would rather have a low rating with solid points than a high rating with generalities. While a appreciate encouragement, I will not help me when trying to develop my craft.
