This had a little bit of a rocky start, kind of like a journal entry. Once you got to the middle and started talking about the "jour" it was great! The rocky start, taken in the context of this poem made the whole thing a bit more charming. It almost seems intentional. I'm suffering from writer's block so this has a bit of special, helpful meaning. Nice voice.
