A good take on love (in and out of quotations in this case) in the modern era.
Showing the many different possible outcomes that relationships can possibly end in now, love, failure, pain, sex, all of which can last years or seconds.
I know what you're looking for. Your looking for your father. I know from experience. I also know that you don't need to look for him, he's found you...
Sorry, got carried away. This is a realistic stage of tragedy that is often ignored or over-dramatized. Not always moping and crying, but actually wanting to find what you lost, even if it's not completely gone.
I'm interested in how this would sound. I imagine this being along the lines of Randy Newman's "When She Loved Me."
Not music per say, but in tone.
I'm sorry that what happened to the two of you happened. However, I would also like to congratulate for making something productive out of the rather nasty situation.
I'm interested in where this could lead. Despite being fairly short, this shows a back story, one giving enough detail to properly paint a picture of the past, without giving it away, and managing to make me step back and wonder where the future for these characters leads...
This was actually pretty good. I'll admit I'm rather tired as of writing this, so I'm going to just give the most and least impressive element:
Even in my half-awake state, I could make great sense out of the metaphor. Being too cryptic is an easy mistake to make, so take pride in that.
While it's good, it's honestly a little to been there, done that for my taste. I think that, for future reference, consider using more than one analogy. At least mess around with more, you'd be surprised what you can end up liking.
Well, I do enjoy this series overall. Here's what I think:
The concept works surprisingly well with the Naruto series, a Batman Villian (I think) powers given to naruto, pretty cool. However, I think it would of been better as a Shippuden (Post time skip) story, as it would offer more characters to hypnotized, but that's just me.
I'll probably make a new review when there is more to review, since this series is so short right now.
