Good one...the story is well constructed..i especially loved the reference to The Broken Sword of Elendil and the subsequent remark by Sam.

But why so short? And you could bring in more stuff from Tolkien...

cool story!!! its nice of you to have written so superbly from such a different angle. the genre is also uncommon...actually i was looking around for some really uncommon stuff and this one sounded interesting.
i would have liked it even more if the story was longer...and the epilouge does not as much depth as the previous part.
