I was a part of this contest last year so I already had a great impression of this contest. However, I felt it was better organized this year.
What I Liked:
Honestly, I enjoyed all of the tasks. My favorite were probably the reviewing tasks. The reviewing process was a good way to get connected with the other competitors and to develop relationships with other WDC members.
Also, promoting Ariana's "Fountain of Knowledge" by Dee is a great idea. It helps your contestants find a place to help them develop their wiriting, and helps Ariana's forum thrive.
Suggestions:
The only thing that truly stood out to me was that there was only one creative writing prompt. On the other hand, I understand that as the creator of a contest you have to accomodate for every one of your contestants. Creative writing is not for everyone. But I still would like to see more of it.
Another suggestion is to make this contest longer, or run it more often. I believe you said something about having to cut it short this time for some reason I can't remember right now. If you can, I think it would be a great idea to run this twice a year. But I know that would be very difficult and time consuming. Though you would have one member already lined up! I love contests like yours. The ones that run for two weeks and give you tasks to complete each day. It's a very good idea.
If I remember correctly, I believe last time you ran this contest you had one day's task be to fill out a character development sheet. Or maybe that wasanother contest. Anyways, I think it is a good idea and would like to see it again.
Overall:
Overall I think you've created an amazing and thoughful contest. It is my wish that you continue to run this contest as long as you are a member of WDC. Not only does it provide an opportunity for good writers to win an upgrade, but it's also a great way to exercise your writing skills.
