Wow, imagine finding a quote from Boswell here on writing.com!

I was not even aware of many of these works, other than Faerie Queene. The part about the current (to Shakespeare) story of the knight and his daughters is even more intriguing.

I'll have to read King Lear again with fresh appreciation. Thanks for posting this wonderful piece.

I liked this essay about the people of Somalia. Their way of life is different from ours, yet the people have the same hopes and dreams of a good life for their families. We need to understand the culture and philosophies of other people in this world if we want to learn to help each other. The Somali proverb "If people come together, they can even mend a crack in the sky," is very appropriate.

Good advice. I hadn't thought of doing the tell-a-friend by having someone pass along my link. I'm going to ask my mom to do that. She has a hundred email addresses in her address book.
