UPDATE JUNE 1, 2009 --- THE OPENING DAY OF HURRICANE SEASON ...
Ta da ... yeah, TEFFY'S overworked, relaxing, zooming pas de deux or more ... among these gifts & prizes with enjoyment in the cool rainy air.
WELCOME TO MY COLLECTION .. EDITING IS IN PROGRESS ....
Thanx for stopping up the house, my dears.
On PC today ... how hateful, a poky mess-around which I despise ... sorry my fault. Not a dame to spend umpteen bucks upgrading equip. stats on ... COSTLY whatever carriers or PC's steal my soul today. Or relax ..let these well wishes below ...float my boat.
Truth be told? My dedication is to my writing. Secondly, shall share the long mile of serious ken for publication via random author-to-author hints as they are harnessed in ordinary time. WHY? Just in case you can make use of same.
For that sharing please see:
These sigs are designed by:
ADC member: Shannon
Who has a wc siggy/ banner/ clip art spot in her portfolio. Thanks, Shannon!
We'll go by last received gifts. Thanks to all, these are much appreciated.

June 3/ 2K9 Update --- for "TEFF'S MERIT BADGES"
With her memo ...
"For placing First in 500 Words Group Challenge in Dec 2008. Congratulations!"
A the time, my blog: JUNE BUGS & ELDERBERRY WINE
wrote for Earl's 31- DAY JOURNAL CHALLENGE.
Although fellow website contestants in the blog contest, listed on our wc community, commented on JUNEBUGS with high compliments ... my standards for my blog provided stimutlation to win. Fabulous remarks came my way. With signs of addiction (which all writers dream of hearing from readers) my mood concentrated. Alas, fifth place remains mine to keep. Amid this winter interim, I watched fellow entrant bloggers who were black cases ... go yellow. However, I received another merit badge from writing.com staff for reviewing.
Which states ... Dec 19, 2008 in the middle of the blog contest listed above ---
"Ranked #49 Public Reviewer of the month of Nov 2008. Writing.com Support.
Uh hum. Thanks. Well, many blogs in Dec's challenge measure below 200 words. Winners are still posted for Round 3. I got this one below from earlybird
A rather longer message follows which reads in part (simply a click away, of course)
"Congratulations for winning 5th Place in "Invalid Item" You are being awarded because of your consistent and meaningful blog entries during the 31-Day Challenge ... ... Earl
In Jan -- the same contest went year round. Personally, advise against a year long challenge. Monthly or weekly are easier to carry off especially if via forum posts & prompts from all competing bloggers.
At the time ... DEC's challenge for 2008 was scheduled for 31 days of blogging.
IF you are a teffom reader, you might already know 2,000 wds blogs are a clip when on point from Senora TEFF. My blog is only open now toi members of
Since writing now on the PC colors fade so going all out bold ... gang. Thanks for staying.
Just me -- pens: a thanx for contest prompt role call in the 31-DAY.
askiegel Sent after I sent a rev for THE ROCK OF NEREID ... "Thank you for your in-depth review of my story. I have given your critique much thought and revised where I found necessary."
Two short story wins in 2008 are not listed here ... gotta find the contests ...
Be back one day ...
Hang in, be cool. Looking forward to meeting & greeting on

UPDATE === MARCH 2008
HEY, READERS, HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY
Welcome to this trophy room.
Joining WC in Oct, 2004, Miss Teff achieved much friendship and generous gifts and recognition over the years. Sometimes being prolific is plain work but since writing is fun for me the time is well spent.
Thanks to all gifters.

To grab a laugh, I like to write on the revs sent to the new members "That's me at the pool side." Actually that is what my legs look like, no lie.
Here's one from Janie for a rev she liked from Teff. Janie writes "Keep drawing the crowds near. Thank you for your support, I am speechless."
For Cheerleading ---->
It used to be on PRP, Public Review Page, qualified reviewers were able, allowed and many often made use of typing in their merit badge ID's. This wonderful means of recognition drops from PRP sometime post summer 2006. Things change, technical things ... sure not necessarily wrong, just sad in a way. Maybe like cell phones. Used to be shoppers talked to each other. But we became a society which regulates our conversations these days.
However, the way of the merit badge lives on in other places, of course. We receive merit badges we cannot use seems to me to be a sad, gotcha, sorry. Instead, sometimes on PRP I simply type in "TEFF'S MERIT BADGES"
So here they are. Thank you. By posting this item, Teff can now refer to these badges. I love every single one of them.
Believe it or not, the makers of the next two, I lost your names. If you recognize your work below, please send me an e-mail but thanks very much all the same.

MAR 2008 Writing now for: ** Image ID #1219491 Unavailable **
The following Merit Badges are listed in a rather mixed order. Thanks for stopping by.
Apparently WC loves to give me reviewing badges. This is No. 8 since Oct 2004.
Sept 10, 2006
Here's a real favorite from a favorite friend who always cheers me.
With this note from Esprit: Aug. 18, 2006
"Your creativity reflects real life and covers the wide range of emotions from laughter to tears. Your inner strength grows bright to any who will see." Esprit.
This is one to rub and polish and re-read on dark, lonely, stormy nights. And I love the inscription that came with it. Thanks, Esprit, you are always the daring dear friend.
"FOR being No. 28 on Most Credited Reviewers," April 2006
June 9, 2006. Oh, that Bobby Eichelberg who writes: "For your kind and encouraging words. You have motivated me to keep writing."
Ans. Well, Bob, this may be so, or what you mean. BUT your talent spells A-U-T-H-O-R to me and many others also recognize your wit. Just, give it up, Bob, you're meant to WRITE ON!
Rev Badge No. 4 === Feb 7/05
All the reviewing badges are from Writing.Com Support Staff. Thanks sirs & madams.
If you're a writer of true blue writing ken & talent then you may be an extrovert from the actual time you get up until you sleep at night. If so, please brag on! This is your well earned right. Our hard work rights. Plus the things are quite expensive, but a little like mini tributes. So many times, I miss seeing these on PRP from others. If pictures & logos are there, these are certainly just as worthy to add to reviews.
From Esprit -- Creativity
From Laurencia, for contest win --
Nov 4/05 From B B Baldwin, a favorite "MOFFETT FILES TAKE FIVE" poster & excellent writer. For: Forum Message --
From Baldwin, for Opinion ===
PS -- Teff's got plenty of that. Need any, just ask.
For a review of Eichelberg's short story, Bob wrote: "In appreciation of a creative, helpful and very encouraging review. Thank you."
Thus this Appreciation merit badge came my way. Thanks, hon.
Then, friendship by any other name ... .... from my Upstate neighbor, Finch ----
T.L. Finch wrote, Dec. 26, 2005 ==== "This merit badge is long overdue and is given in appreciation of her support and true friendship since the first day I arrived here. Thanks Teff for your friendship and believing in my humble work."
For being No. 42 on the Most Credited Rev list in Dec. 2K5
May all of you who gave these merit badges to Teff, please know these are very, very much appreciated and held dearly by me for efforts rendered ON!
OF the REVIEW badges, yes there are TEN! Sorry almost misplaced a few since they all look the same.
Signed, Terrible TEFF THANKS ALL!
