Chains of love

Silken Threads

The chains of love are made of golden,
silken threads, fragile in infancy.
They wrap around our hearts, our minds,
bring clarity to nebular
focus.

With tears, the fibers become swollen,
they stretch and cling in intimacy.
Unselfish care strengthens the links
and binds us to a singular
focus.
