Part 2 of signs of dyslexia in elementary school
These are the warning signs of dyslexia in children in Elementary School:

-dysgraphia(slow handwriting that is difficult to read)

-letter or number reversals past the end of first grade

-extreme difficulty learning cursive

-terrible spelling

-trouble with math(memorizing basic math facts, directionality, memorizing a sequence of steps)

-slow, choppy, inaccurate reading

-often can't remember sight words(they, were, doe, there)

-difficulty telling time with a clock with hands

I encourage parents to learn more about dyslexia. There are also warning signs of dyslexia in High School and in adults that I will write in my last and final column.
