Short Items

I have put here many of the items written from prompts for contests that are usually only 300 or 500 words. Some of these were entered, others were inspired by the contests but I twisted the prompt, ran out of the allotted time, or just wish I had seen the prompt in time! Some of these have evolved into larger avenues to explore later. Enjoy!
