Tribute to Katrina and earthquake victims.
TSUNAMI

Ruby red and checkered gold
Black as ebony, silver’s hold
Sweeping brush through horrific tides
Unreasonable glance at the sides
A range of far-fetched seadom tombs
Beneath luring depths the creature looms
With breath of death and hair of stench
Upon the mortals soul is drenched
With hissing laugh and beautiful whisper
A triton stands tall but mercifully wither
With seasons that travel, this creature does well
As he preys in search of a greater swell
The tsunami roars up and he tears them away
Screaming parents and children, dying each day.
