mythology around 11:11
|Do you regularly glance at the clock, microwave, computer, etc. and see 11:11? How about 10:10, 12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 or perhaps 12:34? Do you wonder what this means? You should.
Several schools of thought surround the sighting of 11:11. Author George Bernard apparently was the first to spot 11:11 and wrote a couple of books about what he thought it means. Basically, there are 1,111 celestial spirits who are midwayers. These are supposed fun loving spirits who are here to help anyone who will communicate with them. How do you communicate with them? I don't know, however, apparently George Bernard does. Check out this link to "spirit transmissions" - http://www.1111spiritguardians.com/archives.html . The majority of people who have encountered the 11:11 phenomenon seem to think it is a very positive thing. At my house 11:11 means everything is OK – for now.
There is another group of people – quite a few people actually, who believe that 11:11 is a gateway to finding oneness with the universe. With ideas that seem to mirror the book "The Celestine Prophecy" these folks motto is "The 11:11 is an insertion point
for the Greater Reality to enter the present moment". Back in 1992 and several other times since then, a large group of people have gathered at the same time in different parts of the world to open the pathway to 11 gates. These gates having opened in 1992 will only be open until 11/11/11. According to this theory, you can step through the doorway at any time. They say that as you travel through each gate you begin to undergo not only spiritual transformation, physical transformation as well. If you see 11:11 it means you have been chosen to guide others through the transformation of duality into oneness. Still not quite getting it? Check out the following link:
http://www.nvisible.com/ . The last gathering to help open the gates had 144,000 people in different spots all over the world gathering, dancing, etc for almost two days.
Of course, I would be remiss if I did not talk about Corinthians. In the King James Version of the bible 1CR 11-11 says "Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord." Basically, according to the church as far as the Lord is concerned we are all on an equal par. And the woman is not without the man and the man is not without the woman. We are both necessary for each other. However, I can't help but think this has nothing to do with the current trend of 11:11 spottings and seems to apply only to the actual physical act of reproduction. Of course, living in San Francisco, a wonderfully gender neutral city this idea seems antiquated. As I try and suspend judgment, I can see that echoes of the idea of duality are in this verse, however, I just don't think it is relevant.
My last explanation for you today is in regards to Light Workers. Yet another school of thought has 11:11 as a signal sent specifically to individuals. These individuals agreed to a mission while they were on the spirit plane, before they took earthly form. Basically, 11:11 is a wake-up call for all Light Workers. It is a subtle reminder of there previous existence on that other plane. Each individual must put out as much "light" as possible. I don't really understand if this is in reference to positive energy. This theory believes in the twenty year window as well and acknowledges that the earth's energy is at its lowest vibratory point right now. Perhaps the "light"energy that is referred to is actually vibrations.
This does not cover all the schools of thought surrounding 11:11 by a long shot. There is a ton of information on the internet. Plug it into Google. Have you seen these signals? You are not alone.
