The Girl Friend

A poem I wrote about feelings I have for a girl that I am really good friends with.

It’s a strange feeling when you don’t know what to say
So many thoughts and feelings but no words to convey
When you love someone but they don’t feel the same way
Feels like you could never love another person so much
No one else can make your blood pump with just one touch
Or turn around and make your heart crack and crunch
I can’t stop thinking about her, hearing her voice in my head
I always remember everything that she said
Feeling like this makes me rather be dead
Because it is back and forth this game never ends
I swear she is playing with my heart with every message she sends
All of this pain is caused by one thing alone; she just wants to be friends
