This is a guy's poem about a breakup of a shaky relationship.
                          Glossy five by nines

I searched to find a way to share her heart.
She searched to find a way to play a part.
So cold her heart I tried in vain to start.
She gave a firm reply, Her words designed:
to lie, deceive, to set to leave-- if need.
Her words to guard her heart spoken so cold.
She feared so much to give, to lose her hold.
Her life surreal, so never lost or found.
Her life a dream, a flow of things to feel.
She marks her times by glossy five by nines.

This is written in Iambic Pentameter with no particular rhyming pattern. I want to gain experience with the meter. I concentrated on meter, rhyming was happen-stance.
