An angry sonnet about a universal problem
Jam Packed

By nature, I'm a pretty laid back guy
I seldom lose my cool or rant and rage
But lately I'm so fed up I could cry
If I don't get control, I'll need a cage.

What makes my blood boil over, you may ask
It isn't cell phones, rudeness or TV
Or wild debates, cats, dogs, a useless task
Or free vacations that aren't really free.

No, I am talking 'bout a sin so bad
That people 'round the world all scream as one
It's grown up like a nasty weed gone bad
One's funny, but ten thousand more? Not fun!

What makes me steam is simple-minded folks
Who send me endless e-mails filled with jokes!

* I posted this rant on the Angry Rant contest message board as well.

* A Shakespearean sonnet in the form abab cdcd efef gg form in iambic pentameter.  The final epigrammatic couplet reflects back or answers the other stanzas.
