Dreams that remain but dreams.
ALWAYS DREAMING OF YOU

Time was when I did adore
Your step, your foot, your face.
Dreaming of you, your picture
In my mind did I trace.

When I was alone your voice
Rang sweetly in my ears.
With you by me in the world,
I was free of all fears.

I waited that you and I
Would one day become one.
In such thoughts I truly had
A thousand wild dreams spun.

But little did I know that
Dreams are but simply dreams.
Now they are shattered, eyes have
In their place but two streams.
