Chapter 1:  Straight to the Point

Online poker has experienced a huge increase in popularity due to many factors. The many television programs, the convenience of playing from home at any time, the ease of depositing and withdrawing funds, and many other factors contribute to this popularity.

Many people feel uncomfortable in a live poker room, others find it inconvenient to find a room to play at, so turning on the pc and joining a game is the perfect solution.

Secrets Revealed…

This eBook gives the knowledge needed to enter the online world of poker, and also gives insight into the SECRETS AND TECHNIQUES online poker professionals have been using to maximize their profits online.

There are currently over 60 million individuals who play Texas Holdem online, and yet only a hand full of poker players know these secrets - why is that?  First off, if every online poker player had this poker knowledge, the competition online would be too strong.  Second, if the fish (the weak players of which professionals make their money off of) attained this information, their will be no longer any “fish in the sea.”  And last, online poker pros are just too embarrassed to admit they are using these secrets because it makes them look weak…  No one wants to be known to have secret aids helping them win at online poker – it’s too humiliating!

This is what you have been waiting for so let’s get right to it.  This is not some 400-page book that will bore you.  It is designed to be brief and effective.

Good luck on your journey to profits and fun at poker!

Chapter 2:  Sleazy Online Players

Something You Should Know…

Because of the anonymity of playing online, there are a few things to know that differs from playing live poker. Some people will play hands that they would never play in person, mainly because it is only a mouse click and no one can glare at them when they see the horrible starting hand they had. This leads to many more suckouts. You will get drawn out on more than normal and get rivered more often. Your swings will be greater in internet poker as opposed to casino poker. When it happens to you, just take it in stride knowing that, in time, your good play will be rewarded and their bad play will cost them money. Also, sometimes the chat can get a little raucous, so it is best not to get involved in arguments and just ignore anything that might be said to you that is derogatory.

About twice as many hands are dealt an hour online than in a casino room. Add this to the loose playing of many players, and you have the basis for many of the rumors of online rooms being "rigged". Instead of attributing their losses to bad play, it is much easier for bad players to think the room has some nefarious plot in place to make them lose. To think that a multimillion-dollar operation would jeopardize their business to make an extra few dollars is illogical.

Before you play, you need to be aware of the possibility of cheating. Just as in a live poker room, some cheating takes place. Rather than ignore it, we think it is better to address it and be aware of it. Wherever there is money at stake, some people will try to cheat to get it. Online card rooms have programs in place to reduce the probability of cheating. They can see if two or more players continually play in the same games, if players timeout on purpose, and other things that reduce the risk of playing with cheats. It is important that you report any suspicious behavior to the site to investigate.

Two friends can talk over the phone and compare hands; one person could have two computers and be two players in one game, etc. Just be aware of this, but don't get paranoid over it. It is in the site's best interest to curb cheating, so reporting it is the best way to stop it. In low limit games, you probably don't have much to worry about, but in higher limits, you should be more vigil and report anything suspicious. One of the benefits of playing online is that if you are in a game and don't feel comfortable, it is very easy to leave and enter another room.

Chapter 3:  Multiple Tables of Income

Playing More than One Table:
Most players eventually realize that it's fun and fairly easy to play at multiple online tables at one time – it’s the most effective way to maximize your earning potential.  Here are some tips and instructions for playing multiple games:
1. Increase the resolution on your monitor. You can do this by right clicking on the desktop, then clicking on Properties, then clicking on Settings. You can then grab the arrow in the Screen Resolution area and move it to a smaller resolution.
If possible, use the 1,600 x 1,200 setting to get up to four games on one screen without overlap. In order to maximize your screen area, make sure your video card and monitor support higher resolution settings.
2. Once you get into playing more than one game, the best way for you to keep up with the action is to look for hands you can fold automatically. Use advance actions. That will help you pay more attention to the game you have a real hand in.
3. Play the same game at every table. It will help you avoid mistakes in reading and playing your hand, and you'll find it easier to get into a good rhythm.
4. Most importantly: Track who has raised the pot. Make sure you make a mental note of this since it is the key to how you will play your hand later. It sounds simple, but it is easy to get in a pot and not recall who raised when you're playing more than one game.
5. Make sure you take some breaks.  The games will still be there when you get back.

Chapter 4:  The Poker Cheat Sheet

The table below includes recommendations for pre-flop betting in low-mid limit Hold'em.  This chart was created to assist new poker players, and attempts to illustrate (1) A list of 47 playable starting hands, (2) Groupings by stoplight colors (green-yellow-red), (3) How suited and non-suited hands compare, (4) Which hands you should fold by position, (5) Which hands you should call by position up to a certain number of BBs, (6) Which hands you should raise with, (7) How high you should call if someone raises behind you, and (8) How you should play the hands in heads up play (either in SB or BB).  This is a lot of information for a small chart designed to be printed on the back of a business card or poster…

Colors - The colors are from a stop light, shades of green, yellow and red.  Any card combination not shown on this chart should not be played unless you are stealing blinds from weak players, etc..  Raising more than these recommendations would be called semi-bluffing.  The grid in the lower right suggests what you should do, raise or call a certain number of Big Blinds.

Early, Mid & Late Position - This chart shows betting by position assuming that there are many players.  Late position is divided into two types of play, when many are in the pot versus few in the pot.  The first number is the number of big blinds to (R)aise or (C)all on your first opportunity to bet, and the second number is the maximum amount to (C)all with this hand prior to seeing the flop.  If the Chart says R2, and it the bet is already at two blinds, then you are to call.  CA refers to Calling Any raise.

Heads Up - SB & BB - This is for heads up play, indicating whether you should call or raise when in the small blind (SB) or big blind (BB).

For instance, if your hand is a King & Nine of the same suit, then you have a yellow caution light, so follow the grid to the first yellow box after the words "Suit/Pr."

•          In Early Position: Fold
•          In Mid Position: Call up to one big blind, and if it comes back to you a second time, call up to two big blinds.
•          In Late Position w/ Few players in the pot, call up to two big blinds, and up to three if it comes back to you a second time.
•          In Late Position w/ Many players in the pot, cal up to three big blinds, and if it comes back, call anything.
•          Heads Up in the SB: Raise to try to steal the BB, and call if the big blind raises you back.
•          Heads Up in the BB: Call.

Chapter 6:  The Not-So-Fair Online Poker Software*

“The Most Controversial Poker Software on the Net…Literally Make Thousands of Dollars Off Online Poker Without Relying on Skill or Luck!”

This material is not for everyone, I want to be crystal clear about this.  If you are currently a real-money online poker player, you may find this section offensive… Yes, offensive.  Why?  Because you’ll soon find out the dirty little secret of how only 3% of all online players make thousands of dollars a night off online poker; and they didn’t rely on skill or luck to make their cash.  A poker software that does all the work for them.

With all the online scamming and hacking I’ve seen on the internet, I’m not at all surprised that someone finally found a way to make huge profits scamming online poker players.  Yes, you’ve read correctly.  When I found out about this jaw-dropping software, it angered me that their was some dumb Schmoe online making thousands of dollars using this poker software – While I, playing online poker for years, was losing my online bankroll to these scammers.

Let me tell you a story how I found out about this secret…

About two months ago, a poker buddy and I made a bet – Whoever had the largest bankroll at the end of the week will receive $100.00.  We both started with a respectable bankroll of $50 and worked our way up.  By the end of the week I ended up with a total of $180, while my buddy went broke.  He paid up.  Surprisingly, a week later, my friend came back and proposed the same bet.  Naturally, I accepted the bet and our challenge continued.  I knew I had this “in-the-bag” when I built my bankroll to a little over $200 at the end of the week.  We compared our cash accounts and my friend made nearly $500.00 – Almost ten times his bankroll!  Naturally, he won…

Fast forward a few weeks, I stopped by the same friend’s place and caught him playing online poker…using a poker software attachment.  Now, I’ve seen many online poker software which calculate your odds and probabilities, but this software was a little different – Well, a lot different.  It predicted whether or not your hole cards are the winning hand preflop - The PPS Tracker v3.2.

What is the PPS Tracker v3.2?

The PPS Tracker is an online poker players dream and worst nightmare - A software program used specifically to view upcoming cards at online poker tables before they are shown. This is a full software package and not a script.  The software is fully assembled, ready for use within minutes after downloading.

I’ve emailed a few major online poker sites (Party Poker, Pokerstars, Full Tilt Poker) about this software…And they claimed, player collusion is illegal, screen viewing is illegal, but preflop RNG (Random Number Generator) predictions are not.  This certainly baffled me.

I’ve done a little research and found a few vendor sites selling this poker software – This is what I found out about the PPS Tracker:
•          PPS Tracker v3.2 will allow you to see upcoming cards at your poker table. Knowing if your hole cards were going to flop huge before the flop.
•          PPS Tracker v3.2 will automatically scan for your poker table and track each hand as it passes. For every new hand you play the tracker will give you 3 high priority cards for the next hand. It's as simple as matching good hole cards with the cards shown in the tracker window.
•          Do you know if your opponent is really holding that card?  Should you fold these cards OR stay in and catch your big hand on the river?  These are real questions that you ask yourself every second that you play poker online. Take the guesswork out of your game and let the PPS Tracker make you rich.
This poker software also can be used with major online poker sites such as PartyPoker, PokerStars, PokerRoom, FullTilt, Bodog, etc…

Small Vendor and Warez sites normally sell the PPS Tracker v3.2 for $249.99.  I gave the PPS a try at PowerPokerSecrets.com for $99.  I’m not a big fan of any poker software that “does the work for you.”  But I’ll admit, the PPS Tracker is quite fun to use.  Although I don’t recommend using a cheat software online, this is a valuable learning tool for anyone looking for a software to teach them “online situational analysis.”
