After polluting earth, man is set to abandon it.
MAN’S SELFISHNESS

The trees and plants and grass are gone;
No greenery is left.
Earth has been polluted by man;
Of succour it’s bereft.

The fish and whales look up to skies,
Praying somehow He may
Bestow some wisdom on the man
So he may not betray.

Man may one day abandon the
Earth and board a spaceship
To settle on another star,
No ‘sorry’ on his lip.
