A poem about spring. Rhyme.
Thanks For Spring.
The blossom's in the trees again.
Trumpeting daff’s around the lawn.
Young birds sing a sweet refrain.
Tadpoles wiggling in the spawn.
Let us rejoice the winter's gone,
but still give thanks for rainy breaks.
It helps to bring the flowers on
and fills the streams an’ ponds an’ lakes.
It's wondrous how the cycle starts.
New joys to cherish everyday.
The Lord's rhythm in growing hearts,
and summer's not so far away.
