Auditioning, sending work away for approval.
She’s Sent Part of Herself Away

She hesitates at the wings;
Seeing all participants playing,
Her heart beats ceremonial things,
But her eyelids tell another saying,
They flutter at the resistant air;
She’s put down any words to the contrary;
She’s set the scene with flair;
The reproving eased and not so scary;
The curtain rises on a soft anticipated tone,
Until the next audition,
Part of her has been left to the unknown.
