Just a short poem asking a question

A Question

Chances are,
I've got this wrong;
but who knows,
maybe I've got it right.
Let me put it to you
and maybe you can clear my sight.

To be loved, you have to love....
hence the cycle, right?
If that's the case
then answer me please.
Why is my cycle so twisted
that my love never returns to me?
