This is my 1st limerick that I woke up with on my lips - Ugh! Three stanzas long. |
Kevin’s Kit and Kaboodle Kevin’s Kit and Kaboodle, Contained red beans, rice, and a noodle. His food, he did like to season, One day he was hung, from a tree, for no reason. And now, he can no longer doodle. There are a few cowards amongst us; They’d like some to sit, in the back of the bus. They wore hoods at night, Gave people a fright, And hung fine gentlemen, without any thought, or fuss. They burnt crosses late at night, on the lawns. Treated people like pawns, And there wasn’t anyone with a brain, To stop, halt, or refrain, These jackasses, from killing future greats, in the dawns. LeBuert Feb. 2011 |
